Solar CRM for residential installers Every appointment logged. Every commission calculated.

One text before each appointment opens a form the rep fills in from the driveway. Sold deals do the commission math on the spot, and you see every lead from first call to install.

Hi, it's Copperleaf Solar. To size your system, could you text a photo of a recent electric bill?

When the bill comes in, the lead moves to Bill received on its own and a proposal can be built.

Where solar deals leak before they ever close

Common gaps we hear about from solar teams. Most of them happen between the ad click and the install date.

  • After-hours calls go to voicemail

A homeowner calls after hours, hears voicemail, and books a consult with the next installer on Google.

  • Quotes go quiet

A proposal goes out, nobody follows up for a week, and the homeowner signs with someone who did.

  • Reps don't log outcomes

Sat, no-sit, follow-up needed, closed: if it isn't logged, your close rate is a guess.

  • No view from lead to install

Leads live in one tool, appointments in another, installs in a spreadsheet, so nobody sees the full timeline.

Know which ads make you money.

See which ads actually book jobs.

Every lead is tagged by source when it comes in, so each booked job and every dollar traces back to the ad that started it.

Solar CRM features that keep every homeowner moving

Each piece is built inside your Clutch City CRM and set up around your sales process.

  • Missed-call text back

Every missed call gets a friendly text in seconds, day or night, so the homeowner talks to you first.

"Hi, this is the solar team. Sorry we missed you! Want a time for a free roof check?"

  • AI booking with real time slots

AI texting answers basic questions and offers open consult times from your reps' calendars, then hands off to a person.

    Open times this week

    • Tue 9:00
    • Thu 10:00
    • Fri 2:30
  • Quote follow-up sequence

Proposals that go quiet get a timed text and email follow-up, which stops the moment the homeowner replies.

  • Install handoff

When a deal closes, the install team gets the file, the site notes and a task. No re-typing.

  • Review requests

After install, homeowners get a review request at the right moment, with reminders if they don't respond.

  • Timestamped velocity

Speed to lead, time to booked, time to close and close-to-install are tracked automatically on every deal, so you can see where your timeline slows down.

  2. TuesdayContacts and open deals come over, each landing in the stage it is actually in.
  3. WednesdayThe outcome form and commission math are built, then checked against a few past deals so the numbers match what you paid.
  4. ThursdayText-back, AI booking hours and the follow-up for each outcome are written in your voice and tested.
  5. FridayA short training for setters and closers. The first appointments get logged from the driveway.

An example first week. Your timeline is set on the call; most setups go live in about 10 days, and the second week is fixes and fine-tuning.

Solar CRM questions installers ask

Do we have to switch CRMs to work with you?

Not always. We start by mapping how your setters, closers and install team work today. If our CRM is the right fit, we move your leads and pipeline over for you; if parts of your stack should stay, we connect them.

Can the dashboard separate setters, closers and admin views?

Yes. Dashboards are built per role, so reps see their own dials, appointments and closes while owners see the full lead-to-install picture.

Will confirmation texts make homeowners cancel?

We write reminders in plain homeowner language, not internal shorthand, and track sits and cancellations so you can see what actually happens and adjust.

How do you track the time from close to install?

Each stage change is timestamped automatically, so speed to lead, time to booked, time to close and close-to-install are calculated without anyone filling out a spreadsheet.

What happens when a homeowner calls after hours?

The missed call gets a text back in seconds, and AI texting offers open consult times from your reps' calendars. Your setter sees the whole conversation in the morning.

How long does setup take?

Most setups go live in about 10 days, depending on how many lead sources, calendars and reps you have.

What is a redline in solar sales?

The base price per watt ($/W) a system has to sell for to cover the company's costs. What a rep sells above the redline is the commission pool.

How is commission figured from the redline?

Contract price, minus adders, minus system size in watts times the redline, is the total commission. The rep's share is their percentage of that, and a setter's cut comes out of it if you split deals.

Can my reps see the redline?

Only if you want them to. Reps get a view with their own deals and pay; the owner view adds the redline, the total commission and each rep's share.

Switching from Enerflo?
