Looking at an Enerflo alternative?

Enerflo is a sales and project platform built for residential solar companies. This page isn't a scorecard. It lays out how we work next to what Enerflo says on its own site, so you can decide what fits.

If Enerflo already fits how you sell and install, keep it. We focus on the part between the lead and the signed deal, and on giving owners and reps the numbers they each need.

The Enerflo column below sticks to what Enerflo publishes about itself. Where its site doesn't cover something, we say so and suggest you ask them, rather than guessing.

Redline, commission and install tracking.

In solar sales, trust breaks in two places: commission and install timelines. Reps want to know what they made on a deal the day they sell it, and owners want to know why a signed deal is still not installed six weeks later.

On the commission side, the rep logs the appointment outcome from the driveway, and the commission figures itself from the contract price, the adders, the system size and your redline. Reps see their own pay; the owner view adds the redline, the total commission, each rep's share and the setter split. You can try the same math in our solar redline calculator.

On the install side, every stage from bill received to paid is timestamped, so you can see days from signed to installed by installer, and installed to paid. That part is in build; we will show you where it stands on the call rather than oversell it.

Enerflo's site describes a platform that covers more of the project itself: proposal tools with design partners such as Aurora Solar and Scanifly, an Install Tracker with milestones, tasks and automated customer messages, and a portal where each homeowner follows their install. It also says it connects to CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot and Zoho. If design and proposals are where your team spends its time, those are the parts to look at closely with them.

Commission math only works if the rep actually logs the outcome, so the outcome form is short enough to fill in from the driveway: sat or no-sit, sold or not, the contract price and the adders. During setup we take your comp plan line by line and check the math against a few deals you have already paid, so the numbers match what you paid before a single rep relies on them. If your plan pays setters a flat amount instead of a percentage, we build it that way.

Clutch City and Enerflo, by area
AreaClutch CityEnerflo (from its site)
New leads Missed calls get a text back in seconds. AI texting answers basic questions and offers real consult times, then hands off to a person. Not described on the pages we read. Ask Enerflo how leads are worked before an appointment is set.
Appointment outcomes In build One text before each appointment opens a form the rep fills in from the driveway: Sold, Bad timing, No-sit or Follow-up. The next step follows from the outcome. Not described on the pages we read. Ask Enerflo.
Commission math Contract price, adders, system size and redline give the commission on the spot. Reps see their pay; the owner sees the redline, the total and each rep’s share. Not described on the pages we read. Ask Enerflo how commissions are calculated and shown to reps.
Design and proposals Not what we build. Keep the design and proposal tools you use; the deal is tracked around them. Proposal tools inside the platform, with design partners such as Aurora Solar and Scanifly.
Stages and timing In build Your stages in your words, from bill received to paid, each one timestamped. Deals through signing, then an Install Tracker for milestones and tasks.
Installs In build Days from signed to installed, by installer, and installed to paid. Install Tracker with milestones, tasks and automated customer messages, plus a customer portal for each homeowner.
Your CRM The CRM is the system: contacts, pipeline, texts, calls and email in one place. Connects to CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot and Zoho, or uses its own project tools. Offers an API.
Setup and support Set up around your process on a free call with Trent and Jared, then run with you. Most setups go live in about 10 days. Ask Enerflo about onboarding for a company your size.

The Enerflo column summarizes enerflo.io and its developer docs as we read them in October 2026. Products change, so check with Enerflo for current details. Nothing here is about their pricing.

Commission math on every appointment

The rep logs the outcome from the driveway and the commission figures itself from the redline. Reps see their pay; you see the margin.

  • have developers who will work with an API

Clutch City may fit if you

  • want every appointment logged and the commission figured on the spot
  • want reps to see their pay without seeing the redline

  • lose leads while your closers are in someone else’s kitchen
  • want it set up and run with you, not handed over as a login

  1. MondayThe free 30-min call. We map your stages, appointment types and comp plan, including how a setter gets credit.
  2. TuesdayContacts and open deals come over from the export, each one landing in the stage it is actually in.
  3. WednesdayThe outcome form and the commission math are built, then checked against a few of your past deals so the numbers match what you paid.

An example first week. Your timeline is set on the call; most setups go live in about 10 days, and the second week is fixes and fine-tuning.

Questions to ask any vendor.

  1. Who sets it up, and who changes it when our process changes?
  2. Can reps see their pay without seeing the redline?
  3. How are no-sits and bad-timing leads followed up?
  4. Can we see time from signed to installed, by installer?
  5. How long until it is live, and what does training look like?

Questions about switching

Can I keep my design and proposal tools?

Yes. We do not build design or proposal tools. The deal, the follow-up and the commission math are tracked around the tools your reps already use, so nobody has to learn a new way to build a proposal.

Can my reps see their pay without seeing the redline?

Yes. Reps get a view with their own appointments, deals and pay. The owner view adds the redline, the total commission, each rep’s share and the setter split, so the margin math stays with you.

Do you track installs?

Every stage is timestamped, so you can see days from signed to installed, by installer, and installed to paid. This part is in build, so we will show you where it stands on the call.

How long does switching take?

Most setups go live in about 10 days, depending on how many lead sources, calendars and reps you have.
